LA LIGHTS GAME IN INDONESIA........................................................................ Two months ago I had one of the funnest times of my life when I flew overseas to Indonesia for a streetball game set in Jakarta, Indonesia. What made the trip to memorable and special too me was the fans who showed crazy love for us. During introductions the applause for us was shutdown! It was set on a small outdoor court, the event was sponsored by LA Lights, which ironically is a cigarette company so no little kids were allowed. Youd think that would affect the size of the crowd but over there it had no effect, that outdoor arena was jam packed with i don't know how many thousand fans but it was incredible! They had a press conference welcoming us into the country and had tons of media present. Along with us on the trip was the Orlando Magic dance team, who also performed at the event. We all had a good time hanging out for a few days as the trip went by super fast.Streetballers frrom the US playing in the game were myself, Headache, Ill Be Right Back, and Special FX. So as you can guess it was an incredible show. You guys probably know of Headache as he is one of the origional players of the And 1 Mixtape Tour, who has been featured on many streetball DVD's and still today has major game. Ill Be Right Back, you probably recognize from seeing him ball on any of the EBC DVD's, And 1 Mixtapes, and numerous appearences on Streetball. Special FX is well known in streetball in NYC and nearly won the old spice contract contest on streetball in 2006, hes one of the most incredible dunkers and athletes today in streetball. The game was mostly all uptempo as the Indonesian players are primarily 'trick' driven, trying to 'catch' someone everytime down the court. The four of us from the US all showed out and had many highlights in the game giving the Indonesian crowd something to remember. The LA Lights game airs on television out there every year and did again this year. I told the hosts of the event that when I get the call to come play in the event again next year, ill make time for that trip....Im there! hey grayson,how r u.i hope all is well for you.i'm a little disapointed that you haven't been answering my posts,but i do understand how busy u r.i hear you r making instuctional vid's with mixtapelive.he's the guy that was going to film our 1 on 1 game,but i guess it wasn't in the good lord's plans for that to happen this summer.i hope you'll have a great holiday season,you and your family.this will be my last post until next summer.i hope our paths will cross again,but if not,i appreciate you for everything that you did for me.i finally was able to get one of your jerseys,even tough it wasn't an actual game jersey,it was a replica from 2005,so that was cool.i hope to c u back with and 1 next summer,take care my brother in christ,MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT ALWAYS,joey g.

what's up grayson.i'm hoping all is well for you,and your family.i'm sure you are busy with the ballup tour,as y'all are getting ready to go to japan.i'm very happy for all of you,and what a blessing to be able to go overseas to hoop.i'm sure the crowds will be crazy there,and i know they show a lot of love to y'all,no matter what the tour name is because everybody remembers you from and 1.i hope the games are outtasight my man,and i'm looking forward to the us tour,and to our 1 on 1 game,if you are still intrested in hoopin with me.i'm getting my new ankle braces worn in,so i'll be ready when the time comes.been puttin in a lot of work,so maybe i can get a little shine time,lol.my prayers are with all of you,as you take the long trip.prolly time for a new passport for you, young fella.enjoy all of these experiences my brother in christ,for you are truly blessed,as am i,and i look forward to seeing you in big d,and we are gonna have a great game of 1 on 1,i'm gonna surprise some folks,that's for sure.much love and RESPECT my brother.you take care,don't cross em' too bad over there. c u soon.joey g. aka"god's child"
