Everything is real good man, just working out getting ready to go back on tour. I would guess we will be back in Serbia at some point during 2009 hopefully. However no dates have been scheduled for next year so there is no way to be sure. When dates are confirmed they will always be updated on this site so check back to make sure. Two months ago I had one of the funnest times of my life when I flew overseas to Indonesia for a streetball game set in Jakarta, Indonesia. What made the trip to memorable and special too me was the fans who showed crazy love for us. During introductions the applause for us was shutdown! It was set on a small outdoor court, the event was sponsored by LA Lights, which ironically is a cigarette company so no little kids were allowed. Youd think that would affect the size of the crowd but over there it had no effect, that outdoor arena was jam packed with i don't know how many thousand fans but it was incredible! They had a press conference welcoming us into the country and had tons of media present. Along with us on the trip was the Orlando Magic dance team, who also performed at the event. We all had a good time hanging out for a few days as the trip went by super fast.Streetballers frrom the US playing in the game were myself, Headache, Ill Be Right Back, and Special FX. So as you can guess it was an incredible show. You guys probably know of Headache as he is one of the origional players of the And 1 Mixtape Tour, who has been featured on many streetball DVD's and still today has major game. Ill Be Right Back, you probably recognize from seeing him ball on any of the EBC DVD's, And 1 Mixtapes, and numerous appearences on Streetball. Special FX is well known in streetball in NYC and nearly won the old spice contract contest on streetball in 2006, hes one of the most incredible dunkers and athletes today in streetball. The game was mostly all uptempo as the Indonesian players are primarily 'trick' driven, trying to 'catch' someone everytime down the court. The four of us from the US all showed out and had many highlights in the game giving the Indonesian crowd something to remember. The LA Lights game airs on television out there every year and did again this year. I told the hosts of the event that when I get the call to come play in the event again next year, ill make time for that trip....Im there! Yeah unfortunately sometimes people do false advertising or things don't workout for the best scheduling wise and theres issues after the posters and flyers have been made. I wouldve like to make it over there as well but hopefully And 1 will tour over there sometime. Im sorry, but thanks for the message -

what's up fess.we met in portland this summer at the open run,i don't know if u remember me,i just wanted to say it was really cool meeting u after waiting for five years,and waiting for two full years and two weeks after i had ruptured my achilles,before i could play again,it was really great to be on the floor with u.do u think and 1 will have the open run again.i hope that they go back to portland,i really love your city,it is really nice there.i want to thank you for taking time to listen to me and my stories,it meant a lot to me.i really admire u and the work u have put in ur game,and thanks for everything u have done for the mixtape,u definatley put some juice in the tour.i hope all is well for u,i plan to do much better next summer,if and 1 does the open run again,before i retire from playing.thanks for takin the pics with me after the open run,and the game,and u do remind me of pistol pete,cause u put in the work,like he did,god bless you grayson,i'll look forward to seeing u next summer on tour,i went to memphis,but i had to leave early because i had a seven hour drive back home,or i wouldve stayed to say hello,take care,joey g.,aka the fountain of youth,and 1 for life - October 29, 2008 - 7:57 am PDT

Whatsup Joey, good to hear from you again. It was cool catching up with you in portland this summer as well, I appreciate your support to the fullest. I would assume there will be some type of open run for the 2009 tour but nothing has been planned as of yet in regards to the tour. Thank you for the compliments on my game man, it means a lot. It was my pleasure taking the pics with you, no problem. Hope all else is well and I will hopefully see you next year on tour at a stop. Thanks again man, later. -

No schedules have been made yet for 2009 but we come to Chicago every year for a game during the summer tour. So I would say yes, we will be back summer of 09, just don't know when exactly. When the dates for 09 are confirmed, theyll be posted on the site for sure. -

Typical workout day for me....run 3 miles on the beach(3 or 4 times a week), lift for an hour, then play ball anywhere from 1 to 3hrs......However, when I was younger(highschool/middle school) I was in the gym all day long, sometimes I would be there when it opened and leave when it closed, lol. Its dedication like that, that eventually pays off. -
