The Professor

Players:

When I was younger I looked up to the Blazers in the 90’s. They had good teams consistently, and I am from Oregon. I was always a huge Jordan fan as everyone else, lol. His will to win and domination was undeniable. He came through in the clutch time after time, it’s unbelievable to me.

Allen Iverson inspired me big time when he first came in the league. He always played with so much heart, and he was a smaller guard like me who always defeated the odds.

My game was developed through watching different players growing up and taking little pieces of their game and putting those into my arsenal. Guards I watched were Clyde Drexler, Skip to my Lou, Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson, Tim Hardaway, and Jason Williams.

Music:

I have a ton of people on my iPod. I can’t say one artist is my favorite. I like Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and T-pain a lot right now. My playlist changes every day so I can’t really pinpoint one artist or song that is my favorite.

Weekends:

I can have a good time in a ton of different ways, whether it is going to the gym at night and playin’ pickup ball, hanging out with the family, going on a date to the movies or going out to the club with some friends. All those can be my idea of a good time, doesn’t matter what day it is. I’m not a heavy drinker and I don’t smoke or do drugs so any situation where I spend time with friends, family and laugh and share some memories is good to me.

Rollin:

I drive a 2005 E-500 Mercedes. I picked the car because I love how Mercedes rides. It is black with black leather interior and that’s something I always wanted. I drove a 2004 mustang before that but got in a wreck the week I moved to LA. I was coming home from a Hollywood Club and a drunk driver hit me as I turned off Sunset Blvd on a side street on my way home. So that basically forced me to get a new car.

On Tour:

Fans in the U.S. differ from city to city. The loudest fans are usually in cities that are familiar with Streetball, such as New York, DC, Philly, and Chicago. Also cities that show a lot of love are smaller markets that you wouldn’t expect the tour to go to such as Rochester, NY or Milwaukee, WI.

Streetball has becomes more popular because as its awareness has grows. ESPN is running a new season each year and showing us a lot of love with the air time. They re-run the show all the time and that keep us relevant. Also, the fact that ESPN is overseas and worldwide definitely makes its popularity grow.

So in the states, it varies depending on the city but overseas you can almost guarantee that the crowd will be super hyped. I think it is because they love American Hip-Hop culture, so when they get to see it live in front of their own eyes they go crazy! It’s not often the AND 1 Mixtape tour comes too their country, so that makes it more special.
